What is Visual Communication Design ?
In a nutshell visual communication design is a creative process that combines technology and visual arts to communicate ideas. It starts with a message that , in the hands of a proficient designer, transcends mere pictures and words. By having full control of color , type, movement , symbols , and images , the visual communication designer creates and manages the production of visuals designed to inform a specific audience , persuade , entertain , and most importantly , I think, to educate and empower others to think freely .
The Name .
My name is Jeremy Rubic like the cube . My logo is a visual illusion indicative of a 70’s 3D combination puzzle to demonstrate my apprehension of 2D and 3D objects in space and its place in design . The logo has been created using ocular refinements so it can be perceived in different ways depending on how your brain interprets the optical illusions . The blue and red rhombuses reinforce the three dimensional motif by referring to anaglyph 3D glasses . The blue and red rhomabuses create a monogram of my name , the J in blue , and the R in red . The 10 white rhombuses represent peace and balance . The black signifies the mysterious power of visual communication design on the world .
The Approach .
Everything I create is an extension of the human spirit , not only is it functional and sustainable but innovative and most importantly , I think , promotes efficiency and liberty for the individual or organization .

Building a better tomorrow by solving today. To explore strange new designs, to seek out new art forms and new innovations, to boldly go where no designer has gone before.
